Stable Dew Point for High-Quality Carbon Materials

The carbon-based new materials industry has extremely high requirements for compressed air quality. In the silicon-carbon anode chemical vapor deposition (CVD) process, even trace amounts of moisture can trigger silane hydrolysis, producing silica impurities that directly reduce the electrode's specific capacity and cycle performance.

During the oxidation process of carbon fiber preforms, fluctuations in the compressed air dew point can lead to a reduction in fiber strength of more than 15%. EPSEA VSD refrigerated dryers can precisely control the dew point at 7°C and the evaporation temperature at 4°C, keeping the inlet air humidity within the process threshold range. This ensures product quality stability from the air source stage.

EPSEA VSD refrigerated air dryers combine high energy efficiency, stable performance, and eco-friendly operation. They use low-GWP refrigerants R513A and R410A to support low-carbon goals without compromising cooling performance.

An enhanced pre-cooling system with countercurrent heat exchange and larger cooling surface reduces temperature difference, cutting evaporative cooling demand and system load. Real-time load monitoring adjusts frequency across a wide range (30–90Hz, up to 120Hz), keeping the compressor at optimal levels for actual heat loads.

An enlarged air passage lowers internal resistance and pressure drop, improving gas-liquid separation and preventing blockages. The non-destructive drainage system features a large-diameter, zero-loss drain with high displacement and clog resistance, reducing air waste.

Together, these features deliver significant energy savings and high-purity compressed air, while the use of eco-friendly refrigerants supports green manufacturing—meeting stringent air quality requirements and low-carbon development targets.
